“For as far back as I can remember I have had a phobia about getting my blood taken. Even getting an injection was a trauma for me. I would become nauseas and you would find me on a table with smelling salts or my head down between my legs. In high school at a biology class, it was a day we were getting our blood typed. Just the anticipation, a prick on the finger and seeing the blood found me passed out on the floor right in front of all my classmates. That is an embarrassment I haven’t forgotten.

Later in life I enrolled in a Medical Assistant program. A day came when the teacher announced that the following day, we were going to learn how to draw blood and we would be practicing on each other. We were also told we would need to perform four blood draws to complete the program. I didn’t see how I could possibly make it and then I remembered that Tony had told me he was a Hypnotherapist. I asked him if he thought he could help me and he thought so. We went to his office and he proceeded to hypnotize me. He regressed me back to childhood when I was a little girl. I remembered being on my Grandmothers front porch where there was a broken Milk bottle and I stepped on it. I pictured all the fear I had and all the blood. We ended the session and I wondered when I went to class the next morning if I would be able to do the procedure. To my amazement I was able to complete the procedure without incidence.

Being regressed back to that little girl and the fear of seeing all that blood allowed me to heal from that experience.

I graduated and became a Certified Medical assistant and proceeded to work at a Laboratory as a Phlebotomist performing blood draws all day. That was over 20 years ago, and I have never had the problem occur again. I owe it all to Tony. He changed my life.”
